Our cat Chicago

Chicago came into my world a month or so after Ray - in about June of 1983, I think. She was a sort of a long-haired girl. She had four white paws that looked like socks, hence the name "Chicago White Sox".

She had the not uncommon defect that caused her eyes to droop. This sort of makes her look in her pictures like she's mad or perhaps mean. She was, however, not that way at all. She was not our most loveable cat, maybe, but she did have her fun side. We would go out in the yard, and I would toss her two or three feet - lightly! - into the soft grass. She would immediately run back to do it again.

Chicago suffered most of her life with various health issues, but she made to seventeen before she finally couldn't go any farther. We lost her on March 8, 2000.

Here are some Chicago pictures.
