Toy truck banks - sample pictures
The first car that my family ever owned was a black 1949 Ford coupe. This is a
model of that car (I don't remember if ours had whitewalls). If ever I was rich
enough to restore a vintage car, this would be it. Unfortunately I don't have
the info available for what company made this model.
This model is of a vintage unspecified year of a Greyhound bus. It is made by
Corgi. I think this is a classic.
Another 1949 Ford - this one is called a "Woody" for obvious reasons. And you
got to love that name! I also don't have the model manufacturer name.
Every year for many years Texaco produced a model (and maybe still do - I don't
know), and they are very collectible, especially the early ones.
This particular model, made by Ertl, is #10 in the Texaco series. It is a 1939
Dodge Airflow tanker.
I'm not familiar with the Gilmore Oil company, but this 1931 Hawkeye tanker is
one of my favorites. I love the color scheme. It was made by Ertl. Ertl made
many variations of the '31 Hawkeye, such as flatbed, panel and others.
This 1932 Ford panel, made by Ertl, is #3 in the US Mail series.
This is another Texaco model, a 1931 Stearman biplane. Made by Ertl, it is #3 in
the Wings of Texaco series.
