Lucy and her brother Linus came to us in June 2001. She and Linus were rescued by a friend of ours.

She was one of the sweetest, most even-tempered cats you'd ever hope to see. She was always up for being petted and especially liked to be brushed. In fact, she was very vocal in her DEMANDS to be brushed!

Lucy, unlike Linus, was very playful. She loved to chase her little "sparkly" ball around the house, and she could often be found chasing her tail. Like Linus, she enjoyed drinking out of the sink faucet.

Lucy apparently had a damaged non-functioning kidney all her life, although we didn't know that until we had a scan done late in her life. Eventually the kidney problems were too much for her, and we lost her on 3/14/2014 at the age of almost 13.
