When Feisty died the day after Christmas Day 2024, for the first time in over 40 years I was left without a cat. Two days later we went to the Angels of Assisi rescue place in Roanoke and adopted Pearl. She was a twelve year old who had been there probably a few weeks. Sue had always wanted what she calls a Russian Blue, and here was Pearl. We took her home.

Although she was 12, she came with a remarkably good health summary. She looks and acts like a much younger cat. She is very affectionate and loves to be petted. She even loves belly rubs! We have no history of her prior life, but she was obviously well taken care of. She has adapted quickly to us and her new surroundings. She will be a welcome addition to our family.
