Baseball Heroes Magazine - 1958 volume 1. Cover picture shows future Hall-of-Famers Red Schoendienst and Henry Aaron. The first story is titled "They're already hollering: Break up the Braves". Other stories showcase Willie Mays, Duke Snider, Mickey Mantle and many others.


Supposedly, an unidentified Yankees spokesman referred to Milwaukee and its fans as "bush league" when the Yankees arrived in Milwaukee for games 3 and 4 of the '57 Series. After the Braves won, the cry "Bushville wins!" was heard in Milwaukee. The local newspaper, the Milwaukee Journal, published this summary report on the Series. It contains their daily stories on each game, post-series comments and lots of pictures.
