Johnny Unitas was card #1 in this set as he would be again in 1960. Notable rookie cards include Sam Huff, Alex Karras, Jerry Kramer, Bobby Mitchell and Jim Taylor.

Pat Summerall is, of course, the long-time CBS/TV NFL announcer. Gene "Big Daddy" Lipscomb was one of the biggest players of his time, listed at 6'6", 288 pounds.


Each card back featured the player's personal info, stats and a scratch-off cartoon which gives some interesting tidbit about the player.
