Card #1 is the long-time pitcher Early Wynn, a 300 game winner. Significant rookie cards include Carl Yastrzemski, Willie McCovey and Jim Kaat. Others include Dick Ellsworth and Frank Howard. Don Mossi, pictured here, is perhaps a candidate for the All-Ugly team.



Bob Mabe is as far as I know the only player from my old hometown, Danville, Virginia, to make it to the majors. The card backs feature player info and stats, a brief summary of some of his highlights, and a cartoon showing some interesting factoid about him.
