Epiphone EC30 Madrid Classic Guitar

I bought this guitar in the summer of 1969 for about $150 including a nice hardshell case. It is the second guitar I ever bought. I was very much into classical music at the time, but I played it for all kinds of fingerstyle music.

Research on the serial number indicates that this guitar was made in either 1966 or 1969. Since I bought it in '69 I'm assuming that's the year it was made.

I traveled halfway around the world with this guitar: from Texas (where I bought it) to the Aleutian Islands to the Mediterranean and back home to Virginia. I got probably thousands of hours of enjoyment from it, and I consider that the modest price I paid for it was a tremendous bargain.

Just had this guitar worked on to re-glue the bridge and had new tuning pegs put on.

Here's a little thing I recorded on this guitar. Click here Here to play my "Santa Claus Medley".
