Amplifiers
I have four guitar amps. I'm not sure exactly why, since I don't play professionally, but there it is! All are solid-state.
The first amp I ever bought is a Yamaha G-MKIII which I bought probably about 1987. It's a G100-112 model. It has two channels though only one input. It is foot-switchable between the channels. It has one 12-inch speaker. It's rated at 50W RMS output. Extra goodies include parametric eq controls, a "presence" control (which I believe is basically a high-frequency booster, and reverb.
I have a Fender Frontman 65R amp. It has two channels which are foot-switchable and with a separate input for each. It has built-in reverb. The output is rated at 65W RMS.
The Crate GT30 has one 10-inch speaker, two foot-switchable channels (but only one input), and is rated at 30W RMS. Extras include built-in chorus, which is foot-switchable, and reverb.
The baby of the bunch is an Ibanez IBZ10. I got this mainly to have something small for upstairs practicing. It's rated at 10W rms through a 6.5-inch speaker. The only extra is a "boost" switch to increase the overdrive.
