I bought this bass in 2012 (I believe) from the Fret Mill Music store in Roanoke. I don't play bass, but I wanted something I could do some recording with. This one was fairly inexpensive and seemed to be what I needed.

It is a model GSR250M, which research on the s/n indicates was made in their Indonesia factory in July 2010.

It is, as can be seen, not a very attractive instrument (that white!), but for me it's very playable with a good sound. Ibanez has been making the Soundgear bass for many years. This model has active electronics with height-adjustable split pickups. It has fairly sophisticated controls which you can see in the picture. The bridge is adjustable, and so is the neck tension.
